I just made a general post about “Information”

Now I want to get into the good stuff.

Let me take a minute to say, I write because, I hate to say it my life is a little boring. I have friends and hobbies but at we all know there is a lot in between, and I can’t just fill it with work 100% of the time!

The only thing I selfishly hope to gain is possibly just the idea that maybe myself exposing my ideas might help someone else.

Some of the best ideas I have had have been from seeing someone I think do something “wrong” for me to then do it “right” and find they were actually right or maybe I was, but the point is being right is usually subjective anyway, just have fun with it! Appreciate the fact you are not brain rotting on tic tok or doing drugs or something.

Implied Existence…

What the heck is this guy on? Some Euro Swan remote viewing mombo jumbo?

Sorta, kinda, actually. In the most clinical sense. Remote viewing was attempting to retrieve information threw ET means or ESP. It was “real” as in really studied. The data to my understanding is inconclusive on effectiveness.

That is not what I am talking about. I am talking about a fun game I play when I am board and want to find cool stuff on the internet.

Implied Existence.

We can “Imply Information or existence” because we are logical creatures we can deduct the high probability of pre existing structure, coordination or material existence.

We can look at something and say, unanimously, that thing, whether its a piece of mater, an idea, a piece of art. We can say and know that thing needed certain other things before it could be, or at least the person or people who made it must have had certain things. If it only be an able body or a few moments of time.

We can take it a step further and we can say that the person or persons or even chemistry MUST have had certain things for this situation to arise.

This is called deductive reasoning, most of us do it without even thinking about it, that is kind of when it works best. Intuition.

There is nothing mystical or random here

When you use “intuition” I argue you simply pull on previous information and blend it with whatever is in front of you to create some sort of “understanding”

You can then take whatever “understanding” you have cobbled and then use it to really go and change this situation.

So the thing is, as humans, we can look at what you have done to the situation and we can deduct things about you or your understandings by how you did certain things. Every time something is done there is a choice made, a mark left, a decision, something that could have gone one way but went this way instead…

Back to Earth

Criminal justice is big on this. Using details to paint a factually accurate picture of an event. One of the pillars of the system is “cross examination”. The idea that if multiple people look at the same things and present opinions, if there is a correlation in opinion, it does not prove anything it does show that a sum of humans can at least see it could happen. For what other tool do we have to figure out what is real and what it not then our peers!

They have the “crime triangle” Motive, Means, Opportunity, Desire. This does NOT say something happened but something COULD have happened, this does not just need to relate to crime…

This core idea is if we need to figure out something. Like really figure it out, like someone freaking died. We can still lean on this sort of “implied existence” theories.

Did the physical evidence create a situation that implies that what we think happened happened? If it does not then there is no case, hard stop. If there is a piece of information that implies that the case wrong, and that piece of information has been cross examined to mean what it implies it means, then there is no case, we have deducted the answer threw material evidence. What we should all try to do in our personal lives!

The Power that comes from Cross Examination

We all wish we were right 100% of the time, how easy life would be.

When you realize you are actually, usually, horribly wrong, the hard part becomes figuring out how bad and how to know what to do to stop it from effecting your outcomes, id say.

This is where the information comes in. When we do identify an outcome is not what we would like. We need to start collecting information. It might not even be intuitive on what and where to collect it. However the basis of science and criminal justice is the same, collect irrefutable data.

With data, cold, hard, emotionless data, we can start to sort this thing out. We can compare this outcome to others, we can see what data was analyzed and determined to be relevant there. We can take this situation and create our own mesh for it. At the end of the day we are doing the same thing.

Why?

So we can discuss and analyze reality! Together, or alone, but at least with some basis in the real world. For our brains really are kind of just mush, they see things, they think, but without some guidance they kind of go in on themselves it seems. They assume they are correct.

This is known in psycology. When a piece of infomraton is missing humans are knowen to just wedge something in to keep the story running.

We do all these weird things that have no basis in reality. All these psychosis we call them.

The basis of CBT Cognitive behavioral therapy is teaching individuals to separate what is real and what is fake/ real personal danger/ success so they can live healthier lives with less abstract baggage.

We all experience it, I have a horrible problem with my clothes. I don’t like the “dresser hamper” system, there is a critical in between phase of my clothes, only shirts and pants. But they cannot go in the dresser, so they end up in various places.

To the observer it looks like a mess, to me it is. I even admit it causes personal despair, it causes my clothes to be dirty and mixed around and If I need to be 100% honest sometimes I probably leave the house smelling like BO.

The point is, we can look at these situations and we can start to pick them apart.

The example I share, the part about the “in between clothes not being able to go in draws” That took me years to figure out. Its like since I was a little boy I have been dealing with this situation and the entire time my brain since before it was developed has this urge, it knows it cant put them in the draws because they do have some dirt, but I don’t want to put them in the hamper because that is just going to cause the hamper to fill in 2 days.

So we get this weird I know its minor but it literally is a psychosis to me. It is a small sickness i simply struggle to properly maintain my clothes. I have errors and it causes me real, measurable harm.

But I need to move on. I guess what I do want to say after that is the only way to figure things out I find is to not take it personally. If I were to believe my clothes were on the floor because I am just a dirty smelly dirtbag, then how would I ever fix that problem. It is that kind of mindset, you can have problems and not be defined by them.

Back to the fun part

You can use this tool, to explore, to find things.

It’s almost like you just take any idea, you think about who you are and what caused you to have it, and then you start playing with it. Shift the sliders a little, what if this was a little like that, what if I was in this same spot 10 years ago, how have I reacted before, how did I just react, how would I like to react in the future…

Perspective shifting, trying to truly figure out what caused something to happen. Without a personal spin but the raw core of it.

It’s extremely difficult. Sometimes even inherently wrong or worthless. To want to take everything so deep. There is no real reason.

But in the age of Human Domestication, there is a reason. The reason is this is what we do. Humans, we use information!

A Fun Example:

First, let’s ground ourselves with an equation. The “standard distribution”

We need, remember Mr. Frizzle… the Mean, and the standard deviation from Mean, that’s it. And a calculator. But then we can catch catfish on the internet without using google!

Lets take dating app heights. Men love to be 6’3″ but lets see what percent chance they have of telling the truth.

Because this is a question of standard nature, it uses the standard deviation equation. If it were more global it would use a different one. Such as life nothing fits all and the information we get will not be 100% accurate. Look at that, even if you do the math you don’t get 100% isn’t that fascinating…

ITS NOT BORING I PROMISE.

Is the best way we have to quickly pin down things. Math!

Ok now lets plug in the proposed height of 75″ the known Mean height of 69″ and the deviation of the mean as 9. So up to 78″ and down to 60″ population

We can use this and the Z table to figure out that I am boring.

Just kidding!

It will tell us there is a 97% chance of him being less than 6’3″. Except not really.

What it does allow us to do is to start somewhere. To start drawing conclusions about information

APPLIED

We do not know what individuals are lying. But we have shown threw math, threw research that some must be. Because if we are seeing more than 3% of them as over 6’3″ than it means the standard distribution is wrong, and if that’s wrong good God it probably means our missile defense system is wrong too.

So we can take this and go out and now be “armed with information”. We “crunched the numbers”. When something feels off we can go back and dig in and often find other humans have came to similar points and often even left us some help.

BTW I’m 6’1″

The point is, we do this, we infer. We even use math to do it to decimal precision.

I just wanted to take time to explore. Deductive reasoning, cross examination, critical thinking. These things need to be cherished by us all. They are skills that need to be worked out just like muscles in the gym.

I don’t want to cut this short but it is really about nothing. Just a set of ideas i have collected and wanted to share.

Use deductive reasoning, implied information, these “higher level thinking” tools. The more you do the more they show you what the world is really made of!
