WordPress and Ai…

Before you stuff cotton in your ears. *I have a fresh opinion* on this subject? Bro people have written more about this subject then you could ever read!

Its like there was WordPress. Web hosting. I have dabbled in web hosting for 10+ years. My first website was live in 2014 it was roetek.com I hand coded it in Dreamweaver and FTP there it goes and I LOVED it!

Oh how times have changed…

I feel like there is so much up in the air right now. Its hard to really sink my teeth into anything “new”.

Will Ai code repos be considered trash next year? Will WordPress be economically eliminated by another CMS? Will the sky begin to fall?

These are the questions…

Toils of man…

That’s all this is. Work work work. There is not an end. Everytime I think I’ve found it all I’ve found is how far I could actually push technology!

It is almost fractal in how you dig and more is exposed and the scale quickly starts to overwhelm me.

I specifically picked computers because of this.

Don’t expect to “finish work”

Ever. We are not on this earth to finish. I do not believe. When we lay down for the last time we are finished but until then there is work to be done! Even just to keep your bedding clean and have clean water.

Painting is boring

Not pretty painting. Like “real painting”. Like a 2000Sqft 2bedroom apt needs to be painted white. AGAIN. I’ve done it. I don’t really like it. For many reasons.

There just isn’t any “meat” there is nothing to explore. You purchase supplies. Do your humanly best to apply them. Perhaps you invest capital in more productive equipment.

I am sure you can find endless optimization in painting. But to me. Computers are just deeper.

Building Computer systems always requires cheating…

You are not gonna get an advanced web app off the ground yourself. Ok ok. Perhaps you “pre load” mabye thousands of hours of research and practice. Thay can culminate into what appears to the observer to be “organic creation of an advanced computer application”. However, i doubt the reddit post you read at 3AM on a Tuesday will ever make the technical credits…

Information is valuable

Information systems are too. But not because of thier physicality but what they enable. They enable humans to establish advanced ways of life.

Conclusion

I am just refreshing the ol blog. “Toils of man”. Hey im not saying anything that great about mine… Just letting you into my brain. Hope you wore gloves and a mask. And boots. And packed some sort of personal defensive device. Cause idk what happens in there but Sheesh.
