What I am seeing in da streets
There are a lot of people who are convinced they have found the meaning of life. Or meaning of computers, or god I hate to think what some are getting upto alone..
The robot is essentially a calculator
I think this can all be boiled down into “if you ask a calculator to multiply 1,000,000 X 1,000,000, it will either give you a number you don’t maybe understand, or it will error, or possibly give something wrong because you asked it something outside it’s means”
That’s it. I feel like I see a bunch of people asking the calculator to do a million times a million and they are taking the repeating decimal as if it is something that… IDK, the language I am seeing used around LLM projects. It often is “spiritual” almost. It’s kind of scaring me TBH.
My personal experience
It will in fact tell me my garbage idea is the key to the universe. I’ve had it do it 50 times at least. That being said, if you directly ask it “why is this all a bunch of crap”. Surprisingly, it does seem to answer that as well. However, you must sort of do it in that order.
It can be “dangerous”. I often remind people of the name “idea man” being derogatory in nature. Ideas are cheap, action is where value is created…

To be honest people I don’t really care about agents at this point in time. I know I am talking to myself. It’s just, if all I am doing is prompting a box, there is no real work for me. Sure, in IT simply setting up the box can be considered a valuable skill… However, box setting up is not a product I would like to offer, at least currently. As usually it becomes extremely competitive with high barrier to entry.

sheesh, Just getting it out so I can go back to using it MY way. To write HTML and CSS so I don’t need to rely on bloated page builders to make me competitive with counties experiencing lower costs of living!
