I, honestly dont like politics. But like the trash, it inevitably draws my attention after a while.

So can someone tell me when the political chart started looking like this:

I apologize but Mrs. Frizzle quized us on a similar chart in 4th grade and it looked more like this:

That is from Quizlet of all places. Isn’t that a throwback. Old Quizelet. Defiling institutions since 2010.

Totally unrelated but while I was in college I had a professor who used test questions that were verbatim from some public repository.

For all of his tests, which were open book, myself and others simply used Quizelet to get the correct answers.We could have studied, but if you look at this in a systems way, we would have been foolish too.

There was REAL time and money at stake here. If we could eliminate the uncertainty of test grades then screw the course work. What even is the objective here?

What did I do? I told him. On the last day after grades had been handed out. In front of everyone I told him I cheated on every one of your tests. It was too easy, you should look into it.

It is, the professor had setup a system that encouraged us to be dishonest. To lie cheat steal and subvert became the logical solution.

Something about that made me tell him. There were real people, I was really paying money to be here, and I was openly admitting to cheating.

Was I punished? No. I had not feared I would be for 1 second, my grade was as it was and the check metaphorically cleared years ago.

How could he punish me? How when an entire room booooos me? He was not unaware of the situation. Everyone was, even the ones who were pretending they did not, knew about the answer repositories.

We shouldn’t do this. We should not create situations were people are inclined to take lower paths. This teacher was lazy, he wasted time and that transcended into his course work. I see no other explanation. If I had submitted papers off google he would have said that was unacceptable, so why is using questions off google for your content ok? Its not.

The “political contium vs spectrum”

Ive been told, the spectrum was invented during the 1770s something to do with the French revolution. It bounced around political shindigs untill 1950s- 60s post ww2 where apparently it was adopted in American instatutions. Idk guys thats what they tell me.

The Continum, you know the way they tought us in school, the Continum dosent really have an origin it was kind of like “totalitarian rule vs anarchy”

The sentiment that Anarchy and Facism are both degenerative human states, ive kind of lived by that. The idea we cant have total control but we cant have 0 either.

Well apparently that sentiment is wrong. I guess thats why im making this post. Because idk why it is but I hate to sound like my grandpa but “I ain’t never seen this damn spectrum before”

Im open to ideas, but I dont like this one. It doesn’t cause joy, sorry.
